About The Position

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, a member of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a Registered Nurse for their 4G Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit. Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing required
Current Registered Nurse (RN) License required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
0–1 year of clinical nursing experience required
Understanding of nursing principles and clinical skills necessary to provide patient care and treatment
Knowledge of age-specific patient care needs for assigned populations
Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information
Knowledge of medical terminology
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to accurately assess, screen, and triage acute patients
Effective critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification preferred
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Report symptoms, changes in condition, and patient outcomes.
Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
Participate in care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Support a team-based approach to delivering exceptional patient care.
