About The Position

Life Care Center of Stonegate is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join its team. The facility provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and post-operative recovery and is affiliated with Life Care Centers of America. The RN delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The RN evaluates patient needs through ongoing assessment, revises care plans as patient conditions change, and provides daily clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.

Requirements

Nursing diploma, associate’s degree in nursing, or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Current licensure or registration in the applicable state; must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
Ability to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.

Nice To Haves

One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
Provide care and services to help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment.
Revise care plans based on changes in patients’ conditions.
Provide daily clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.
Implement and interpret the department’s programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
