About The Position
As a PRN Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Bend, OR. The scheduled hours are INSERT SCHEDULE. [Insert additional details: perks, required skills, sign on bonus details, etc.]
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in providing patient care
- Ability to conduct nursing evaluations
- Proficiency in performing medical tests (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
- Knowledge of medication administration and emergency care
- Understanding of infection control procedures
- Skill in maintaining patient health records
- Ability to educate patients on health promotion
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in an occupational health setting
- Familiarity with site-specific contracts and protocols
Responsibilities
- Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
- Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
- Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
- Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
- Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
- Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
- Performs other duties as assigned
