About The Position

Elara Caring is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for home health. The nurse assesses patients’ care needs and provides nursing care in patients’ homes according to the plan of care and physician orders. The role includes monitoring patient conditions, communicating changes to the care team, educating patients and families, protecting privacy under HIPAA, and taking appropriate action when conditions change. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Ambient listening technology is available to help reduce documentation time and allow more focus on patients.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associate’s, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.

Nice To Haves

• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine their care needs.
