About The Position

BAYADA Hospice is seeking compassionate and dedicated Per Diem Registered Nurses (RN) to join their team in the Tucson Hospice office, serving clients on a per visit basis in the Pima County area. Prior home care and/or hospice experience is strongly preferred but not required. As a hospice nurse (RN), the individual will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team, providing palliative care to clients and enabling them to receive necessary medical care at home. Requirements

A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in AZ
A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience
Solid computer skills
Ability to travel to cases as assigned

Nice To Haves

Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred
Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred

Responsibilities

Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care
Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders
Performing client assessments as necessary
Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends
