Seasonal Registered Nurse - PACU/Recovery Room
About The Position
Provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging nursing position. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members from various hospital specialties and deliver care in accordance with unit standards. This is a seasonal PACU/Recovery Room role with work shifts listed as PRN, up to 40 hours, and 2–4 days of work per week. Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is a 46-bed, full-service acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas, serving Midlothian and northern Ellis County. The hospital provides emergency care, advanced surgery, imaging, and labor and delivery, and has 16 emergency department beds, two operating suites, and digital and medical technologies.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification.
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
- Current additional certifications as required by the department.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
- At least 2 years of RN experience.
