About The Position

CoxHealth is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join their Neuro Trauma ICU team. This role involves managing the care of patients with medical conditions or surgical procedures, assessing patient conditions, administering medications, changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, keeping records, and providing patient and family support and education. The Neuro Trauma ICU focuses on creating a culture of acceptance and support for both patients and team members, offering hands-on experience with high acuity patients in a team-centered approach.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
RN license active in the state of Missouri.
BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate effective leadership abilities.
Exhibits valuable time management skills.
Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Previous nursing experience.
