About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is hiring Registered Nurses for its 28-bed Cardiopulmonary Unit. This position is 0.75 FTE, or 60 hours every two weeks, and works 12-hour straight night shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Nurses care for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions and emphasize rehabilitation, education, and lifestyle modifications. The schedule includes every third weekend and two holidays per year.

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing.
• RN license to work in Wisconsin.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers.
• BLS for health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with conditions and procedures including post-MI care, post-open-heart surgery, post-thoracotomy, pacemakers, pre- and post-angiography, post-cardiothoracic surgery, COPD, congestive heart failure, and other pulmonary conditions.
• Emphasize rehabilitation, education, and lifestyle modifications for patients.
• Work every third weekend and two holidays per year.
