RN OR Circulator Day Surgery
About The Position
Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for their Day Surgery Department at their Level II Trauma Center in Boise. This position involves providing hands-on patient care, collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. The role includes serving as a patient advocate, educating patients, administering medications and treatments, and developing care plans based on patient needs. The department cares for patients undergoing various procedures including ear/nose/throat, plastics, orthopedic surgeries, and minor laparoscopic procedures, interacting with patients, families, surgeons, and anesthesia personnel throughout the perioperative experience.
Requirements
- A current RN license is required.
- Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
- At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).
- ACLS/PALS within 12 months of hire.
