About The Position
Prime Care is seeking a flexible Registered Nurse (RN) for a Critical Access Hospital. This role involves preoperative preparation and intraoperative support, assessing patient status throughout perioperative care, developing and implementing individualized patient care plans, and serving on a multidisciplinary team. The RN will also be responsible for compliance and safety, and assessing patient comfort, pain, and emotional needs during the preoperative and perioperative phases.
Requirements
- At least one year of Emergency Room experience
- Active Nursing License
- BLS Certification
- TB skin test (current; within 1 year)
- Federal background check
Responsibilities
- Preoperative preparation & intraoperative support
- Assess patient status throughout the perioperative care
- Develop and implement an individualized perioperative patient plan of care
- Serve on a multidisciplinary team in planning and delivering care
- Compliance and safety
- Assess patient comfort, pain, and emotional needs during the preoperative and perioperative phases
