About The Position
Sentara Careplex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. New Grads are welcomed and should inquire about new grad sign-on bonuses, the Nurse Residency Program, education assistance (BSN Degree), and loan repayment. The primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, administering medications, communicating with family members, and overall patient care. The Emergency Department at Sentara CarePlex Hospital is equipped with 43 beds, including 11 fast-track beds, and staffed by board-certified emergency physicians and specially trained nurses with Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric certifications.
Requirements
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- RN-Associate’s Degree, or RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or RN-Diploma, or RN-Master’s Degree
