About The Position

Join Baylor Scott & White - Lake Pointe Rowlett as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! This is a full-time night shift position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The patient population includes adults and geriatrics, with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 in a 14-bed unit. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Lake Pointe is a community-based hospital offering specialized services uncommon for its size, including extensive outpatient services. The hospital is licensed for 176 beds and features various units and services, holding multiple accreditations such as Level III Trauma and Primary Stroke Accreditation. The nursing team is on a journey towards Pathways to Excellence and aims for Magnet designation.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing
• RN License
• 1 Year of recent ICU RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain with (30) thirty days of hire or transfer

• CCRN Certification Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
• Manage patient care with ratios of 1:1 or 1:2.
• Care for adult and geriatric patients.
