About The Position
If you are looking for flexibility then the Richmond Float Team is for you! The Float nurse will follow all Bon Secours policies and procedures. Float RNs go to all sites in our Richmond market and float to Behavioral Health and Med Surg Units. The Float Team offers flexibility with 36 hours a week, self-scheduling to pick your availability. One Summer and one Winter holiday are required, and every third weekend is required. Full-time night shift or day shift is available, with a shift differential for night and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association required
- Two or more years clinical RN experience required in BH and MS
Nice To Haves
- Experienced RN's may be eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide advanced treatment and care to patients with complex diagnoses
- Evaluates, updates and revises plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
- Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and Bon Secours policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
