About The Position

Axia Women’s Health is recruiting a Registered Nurse (Generalist) for Chester County OB/GYN in West Chester, Pennsylvania, with additional locations in Kennett Square, Downingtown, and Exton. The role evaluates patients’ health care needs using established triage protocols, obtains provider input when needed, and documents symptoms, assessments, advice, and patient responses. The position follows organizational policies and protocols to support consistent departmental operations, effective care, and patient access to appropriate health care.

Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and one evening shift per week, 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The nurse may be asked to support satellite locations. The listed pay range is $30 to $37 per hour; final offers depend on factors including skills, experience, location, and qualifications.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nursing license applicable to the care center’s location(s).
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency documenting in an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Competency in phlebotomy and standard nursing procedures.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in an outpatient clinical setting is preferred.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with OB/GYN or women’s health patient populations is beneficial.
• Understanding of lab order sets and CPT coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients’ health care needs based on signs and symptoms, using established triage protocols and guidelines.
• Obtain appropriate provider input and direction as needed to determine the clinical course of action and recommendations for patients.
• Accurately document symptoms and complaints, nursing assessments, advice provided, and patient or caller responses.
• Follow policies, procedures, and protocols to promote consistency, departmental effectiveness, improved patient outcomes, and access to appropriate health care.
• Support satellite locations if needed.
