About The Position

Trillium Health Partners is one of Canada’s largest community-based teaching hospitals, serving the growing and diverse populations of Mississauga, West Toronto, and surrounding communities. The successful candidate will meet performance standards as outlined by the College of Nurses and by the Trillium Health Centre policies and procedures. They will be responsible and accountable for decisions and actions in the provision and management of medical care for patients, and will serve as a practitioner, consultant, and educator for appropriate patient groups and health care team members.

Requirements

• Graduate of a recognized College or School of Nursing and preferably hold a Baccalaureate degree.
• Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or currently meet the eligibility criteria to register in good standing in the Temporary Class or General Class with the CNO.
• CPR/ACLS
• Minimum of one year Paediatric experience
• All shift availability is required
• Satisfactory attendance and performance required.

Nice To Haves

• PALS certification preferred
• Evidence of ongoing professional development is preferred
