About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Medical Step-Down unit delivers comprehensive care to patients requiring a step-down level of care. The position works nights on a 12-hour schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM, with holiday and weekend rotation as needed. Holiday coverage is required. The opportunity does not guarantee a minimum number of hours per week.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in critical care or step-down nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or another professional nursing certification recognized by the Magnet Association.
- At least 2 years of experience in critical care or step-down nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients meeting the Medical Step-Down level of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions.
