About The Position

The Birth Center is a 44-bed unit at the St. Cloud Hospital and is the largest birthing center in Central Minnesota, performing approximately 2,900 deliveries a year. The unit is equipped to deliver outstanding care at every stage of pregnancy with a mission to make labor and delivery as safe as possible, preserving the health of mother and infant. Patients cared for include infants from early to post term gestation and childbearing women and their families. Registered Nurses (RN) can choose to work within an OB Specialty they are passionate about – whether that’s low/high risk OB, postpartum including lactation support, and/or specialty newborn care. The unit has 24-hour OB and anesthesia presence.

Requirements

Graduate from a nursing program
Current MN RN license required
BSN required within three years
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
External candidate hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position to be eligible for hiring bonus.
Previous employees qualify for hiring bonus if they have not worked for CentraCare/Carris for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months to be eligible for relocation assistance.
Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it to be eligible for relocation assistance.

Responsibilities
