About The Position
Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside. This position is within the NICU department and operates on a PRN schedule at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
- Wisconsin: RNs may begin employment with a valid multi-state RN license; a WI RN license will be required within 30 days of establishing permanent residency.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.
- Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is preferred in the specialty area worked.
