About The Position
Betz Nursing Home is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care that promotes residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. Nurses develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning about their life stories and contributing to a rewarding, resident-focused care environment. The position is full-time and offers day, evening, and night shifts. Compensation is $42–$46 per hour, with a $4-per-hour evening shift differential. The RN works collaboratively with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate resident care, support teamwork, and maintain a respectful, positive environment. Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing skills and resident-focused care.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
- Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values toward residents, family members, customers, and staff.
