About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides direct clinical patient care in the Tele specialty as part of Tenet’s in-house contingent workforce pool, Trusted Resource Associates. Assignments may be travel contracts, local contracts, or PRN. The employee is a W-2 Tenet employee and wears a Tenet employee badge. The position involves assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift and unit-level basis. The nurse supervises staff to whom appropriate care is delegated and supports the facility CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, clinical staff competency, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. The posting lists a 13-week duration, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour night shifts. It states that the start date is ASAP. Required education is graduation from an accredited nursing school; a bachelor's or master's degree is preferred.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, including a minimum of 1 year of current experience in the specialty.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice, or policy.
- AHA BLS certification.
- AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP, if applicable under corporate policy for the unit of hire.
- BLS, ACLS, and CPI are required for Tele.
