About The Position
The RN in Adult Health Care (Med/Surg) is the basic level of professional nursing practice. The nurse identifies and implements nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes and evaluates the results of these interventions for a given patient population. A nurse at this level may be required to assume leadership responsibility.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure in the State of Minnesota.
- Understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients of all ages in relation to the growth and development processes to include adult and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement nursing interventions with less predictable outcomes.
- Evaluate the results of nursing interventions for a given patient population.
- Assume leadership responsibility as required.
