About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is hiring a full-time, day-shift Registered Nurse for its Stepdown unit at Baptist Medical Center Portland Ave. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for managing and delivering patient care using the nursing process. The role may require floating to other units and participating in on-call status, and requires population-specific competencies. The nurse manages and documents patient care, including assessment and reassessment, developing plans of care, implementing and evaluating patient-care interventions, and supervising and coordinating other licensed and non-licensed personnel as assigned. The nurse also provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students as appropriate. The position reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. The role may involve additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit-test requirements. Potential exposures include infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 may be available.

Requirements

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Population-specific competencies.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver patient care using the nursing process.

Evaluate patient-care interventions.
Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing care to patients, as assigned.
Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
Document patient care.
Float to other units if required.
Participate in on-call status if required.
