About The Position
The Registered Nurse assists the physician in the care and teaching of patients. The position is based at the Winter Park Village Office and requires a Florida-state-of-residence nursing license, IV therapy experience, and travel to clinics. BLS certification is required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment; FCS will provide a BLS course during that period. Hematology/oncology patient experience in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state of residence.
- Experience in IV therapy.
- Ability to assess patient needs and condition.
- Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Current CPR certification.
- BLS certification upon hire or within 30 days of employment.
- Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license for travel to clinics.
Nice To Haves
