About The Position
OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical & OhioHealth in Dublin, OH, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a per diem position. This role involves providing advanced treatment and comprehensive care to individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. The hospital offers an extensive orientation program and a team-oriented environment, emphasizing growth and success for its employees.
Requirements
- Valid State RN License is required.
- BLS is required at hire.
Nice To Haves
- BSN or enrollment in a BSN program is preferred.
- Clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with a Nursing Assistant partner on each shift to handle a manageable caseload.
- Help patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
- Receive admissions and/or transfers.
- Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
- Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Promote continuous quality improvement.
- Instruct and counsel patients/families.
