About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department Where You Will Work: Atrium Health Pineville Emergency Department is a high acuity facility that sees all ages and is a primary stroke & STEMI center, includes 35 Emergency treatment rooms, three resuscitation rooms and 6 holding rooms, 4-bay Triage area, 3 Landing Zone rooms, Imaging Services to support the ED (CT, Ultrasound and X-ray) Lab, Social Work, Geriatric, and Pharmacy Services. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- At least 6 months of RN experience
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred
