About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a fast-paced and challenging environment. This position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to various situations, including floating to different units as needed. Unit Information Level: Trauma Level 1 Number of Beds: 18 Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:2, occasionally 1:1

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a busy hospital setting
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Familiarity with managing ventilators, pressors, and hemodynamic monitoring (PAC, CVP, arterial lines)
• Ability to handle sheaths, IABP, Impella, CRRT, and perform patient sedation and paralysis methods
• Skilled in titration of drips, including epinephrine, norepinephrine, vasopressin, dobutamine, milrinone, amiodarone, and cardene
• Competence in ventilator troubleshooting and emergency intervention

Nice To Haves

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with complex medical needs, including heart failure, STEMI, pulmonary emboli, arrhythmias, and MICU overflow
• Coordinate with healthcare teams, including hospitalists and intensivists who are available 24/7
• Work collaboratively in a busy environment while adhering to safety and care protocols
• Interpret telemetry strips and manage patient monitoring
