About The Position
Atrium Health Levine Children's Pediatric Extended Care in Fort Mill, SC, provides comprehensive quality healthcare and patient education to children and adolescents. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 5pm-8pm and Saturdays from 8am-8pm, offering a full range of care for children of all ages during extended hours, from checkups to sick visits. This role is part of the Ambulatory Nursing team within Atrium Health Greater Charlotte, which encompasses over 600 locations across a 14-county region, offering care in various specialties including Primary Care, Urgent Care, Cardiology, Pediatrics, and more. The team fosters a culture of collaboration, professional governance, and excellence in nursing quality outcomes through evidence-based practice. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- One year of Registered Nurse experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs telephone triage with diverse patient population.
- Assesses needed care and collaborates with patients, and others, to provide clinical solutions.
- Provides comprehensive nursing assessment in an untraditional nursing environment.
- Actively participates in team conferences and helps assess patient education needs.
