About The Position

The Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System implements, directs, communicates, and documents the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Nurses serve as patient advocates and provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues. This is a full-time Emergency Department position on a 12-hour evening shift.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited RN program.
Hold an Indiana RN license.
Have CPR certification upon hire or be able to attain it within 60 days.

Responsibilities

Implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
Advocate for patients.
Provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
