About The Position
The Registered Nurse works in the Endoscopy GI department at River Woods Outpatient Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on a PRN rotating-shift schedule. The role implements and monitors physician and nursing orders, tracks and communicates changes in patient condition, coordinates care across healthcare teams, and assesses and coordinates patient discharge needs. A Wisconsin RN credential and BLS Provider certification are required within the specified timeframes. A diploma from an accredited nursing school or college, or professional licensure at hire, is required. Endoscopy or GI experience is preferred.
Requirements
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification accepted.
- Registered Nurse credential from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained before hire or job transfer, or a current home-state license if considered a multi-state/Compact State.
- Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or required professional licensure at the time of hire.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of Endoscopy or GI experience.
