About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Medical Surgical unit at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The unit cares for a broad range of general Med Surg/Hospitalist patients, offering a great opportunity to start and grow an RN career with diverse patient care experience. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. It emphasizes using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
