About The Position

Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our ICU Unit. This is a full time, 12-hour night shift position reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services.

Requirements

• Current CA RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN - preferred
• CCRN - preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides care, treatment, counseling, and health education to hospitalized patients.
• Plans and coordinates care from admission through post-discharge.
• Meets and exceeds compliance with core measures.
• Contributes to reduction in LOS.
• Actively participates with all aspects of quality, safety, and performance improvement activities.
• Collaborates with all members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians, and the public.
• Meets and exceeds the Department of Health Services (DHS), The Joint Commission (TJC), and other regulatory requirements.
