About The Position

We are hiring a Registered Nurse for the General Medicine department at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, FL. This is a PRN position with day shifts. The role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions, coordinating care among disciplines, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing discharge planning needs.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board ofNursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Acute care experience.

Responsibilities
