About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Neuro ICU at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). The Neuro ICU cares for adult patients (18+) with a variety of neurological disorders, including stroke, hematoma, seizures, spinal cord injury, and brain/spinal tumor resection. Patients in this unit have specialized neurological needs.

Responsibilities

Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
