About The Position
Join Baylor Scott & White - Lake Pointe Rowlett as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! This role involves caring for patients in the Antepartum, GYN Surgical, and Post Partum units. The hospital, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX, is a community-based facility offering specialized services uncommon for its size, including extensive outpatient services. It is licensed for 176 beds and features various units and services such as medical surgical units, intensive care unit, Labor & Delivery, New Family Unit, Antepartum, Neonatal Intensive Care, Surgical Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and an Emergency Department. The hospital holds multiple accreditations including Level III Trauma, Chest Pain Accreditation, Primary Stroke Accreditation, and Maternal and Level III NICU. The nursing team is on a journey towards Pathways to Excellence and aims for Magnet designation.
Requirements
- Graduation from an Accredited Program.
- RN License.
- 2 Years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within (30) thirty days of hire or transfer.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or obtain within (60) sixty days of hire or transfer.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the Antepartum, GYN Surgical, and Post Partum units.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4.
- Work within a unit of 14 rooms.
- Work a Full-Time, Nights shift.
