About The Position
As a part of Mercy Hospital’s NICU team, the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing and coordinating competent, evidence-based care. The nurse contributes to decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency. Mercy Hospital is a 375-bed not-for-profit hospital and a member of Catholic Health. It is designated an ANCC Pathway to Excellence hospital and supports shared governance, staff participation in care-delivery decisions, and professional growth through a clinical ladder program.
Requirements
- Active New York Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
- NRP certification.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Previous NICU experience highly desired.
