About The Position

The Palliative Care Nurse provides nursing care under the direction of the Palliative Care Director and Program Medical Director. The role focuses on maximizing the comfort and health of patients and families in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care. Care may include community-based palliative and hospice-appropriate patients across the continuum of care. The position covers Broward County and is PRN.

Requirements

• Previous nursing experience in hospice, home health, general medical-surgical nursing, or nursing focused on a specific patient population such as geriatrics or pediatrics.
• Registered Nurse license required in the state(s) where practicing.
• Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile insured according to state and/or organization requirements and in good working order.
• Ability to travel to all business locations.

• Associate degree preferred.
