About The Position
SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This facility is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care for individuals recovering from brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. Requirements
- Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS required at hire
Nice To Haves
- BSN or enrollment in a BSN program
- Clinical experience
- Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.
Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and/or transfers
- Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
- Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC
- Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
- Instruct and counsel patients/families
