About The Position

UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Internal Medicine / Cardiac Unit. Our general Internal Medicine/Cardiology unit is a 30-bed medical/surgical unit that provides care and treatment to general internal medicine and cardiology patients. We care for patients with a variety of medical illnesses including pneumonia, liver and gastro-intestinal disorders, infections, diabetes, renal compromise, auto-immune disorders, heart failure, and acute myocardial infarctions. Telemetry monitoring is provided.

Requirements

• Licensed to work as an RN in the State of Washington
• Active BLS certification

Nice To Haves

• One year current/recent med-surg nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide acute patient care
• Triage patient care priorities in collaboration with the nursing supervisor
• Follow evidence-based nursing practices
• Monitor and administer medications and IVs

Benefits

• BSN (or higher degree) Premium - $1.00/hour
