About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking passionate and experienced nurses to join their team and collaborate with top medical professionals. At IU Health, nurses will learn and develop their careers significantly, advancing healthcare and delivering the highest level of patient care. The role is within an Acuity Adaptable Unit at IU Health Tipton Hospital, a unique care environment that supports medical-surgical, progressive care, and limited critical care patients within a single flexible space. The unit has an average daily census of 8 patients and adjusts seasonally to meet the needs of the rural community. Nurses are cross-trained to manage a wide range of acuity levels, making it ideal for those who thrive in a dynamic, team-based environment. Due to the rural setting, the team operates with limited resources, requiring strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and collaboration. Nurses will work closely with a dedicated interdisciplinary team including nurses, patient care assistants, case managers, physicians, pharmacists, and dietitians, all committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
