About The Position

Our Intensive Care Unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. We are looking to increase your knowledge base. Our Intensive Care Unit leadership and team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The patient population includes Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Geriatrics, Surgical, Medical, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Trauma and Gastrointestinal. We are a small but mighty generalized ICU with training in specialty devices such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella and CRRT. This is a highly engaged team with a focus on high quality patient care and process improvement. The team has a robust shared governance with decision-making opportunities that leads to department process improvements and multidisciplinary collaboration. The hospital is Level III trauma, primary stroke center, and a primary heart attack center.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• RN license
• BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.

Nice To Haves

• Med Surg ICU experience preferred
