About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care to patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions in a hospital setting. This fast-paced, collaborative role involves working with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units. The nurse must be willing to float to Lawrence and rotate between facilities as needed. No prior dialysis experience is required; paid training is provided. The schedule includes regular and on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays, and daily schedules may change according to patient needs.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Must pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.
• Must be willing to float to Lawrence.
• Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program, potentially including a booster when eligible.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is helpful but not required.
• CNN/CDN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
• Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
• Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes.
• Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs.
• Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment.
