Registered Nurse
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care to patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions in a hospital setting. This fast-paced, collaborative role involves working directly with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units. The position includes inpatient dialysis treatment, patient monitoring, coordination with hospital and DaVita clinical teams, and support of patient care with PCTs. No dialysis experience is required; paid training is provided. Nurses work in a variety of hospital units and may rotate between facilities. Schedules include regular and on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays, and may change based on patient needs.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Must pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.
- Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required by hospitals in the program, potentially including a booster when eligible.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is helpful but not required.
- CNN/CDN certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver inpatient hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis therapies.
- Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
- Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes.
- Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs.
- Adapt quickly to a dynamic hospital environment.
