About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy center, located on Billingsley Road in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will provide safe, effective, and high-quality patient care in both pre-procedural and post-procedural settings. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative clinical environment.

Requirements

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification required
ACLS preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

1-3 years experience in perioperative, postoperative, or endoscopy settings preferred

Responsibilities

Educate patients and families before and after endoscopic procedures to ensure understanding and reduce anxiety
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing protocols
Monitor patient status, including vital signs and responses to treatments or procedures
Maintain a safe clinical environment and adhere to infection control standards
Assess patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the physician and care team
Respond effectively to emergency situations following established protocols
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the care process
Accurately document all patient care in compliance with legal and medical standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain required competencies
Other duties as assigned
