Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health
About The Position
Inova Behavioral Health Services at Inova Loudoun Hospital Cornwall Campus is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Registered Nurse to provide inpatient and outpatient behavioral healthcare. The RN delivers knowledgeable, caring clinical practice and coordinates care by understanding patients, families, nurses, and healthcare delivery teams. The role provides safe, therapeutic, holistic, and systematic care in a patient- and family-centered manner, accounting for individual differences and supporting patients and families throughout the continuum of care, including through education. The RN communicates effectively and cooperates respectfully with other clinical disciplines. Care-delivery processes are determined through direct communication with patients and families, technology, and collaboration with other healthcare team members. This is a full-time day-shift position with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and a rotating weekend schedule. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available to qualified external applicants.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
- BSN or ADN; ADN holders must complete a BSN within 5 years of their start date.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association.
- RN license and eligibility to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Proficiency in English and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.
- Proficient computer skills.
