About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of recent Endoscopy RN experience. The ideal candidate will have previous travel nursing experience and recent experience in a Level I Trauma, large 500+ bed teaching hospital. This role requires proficiency in starting IVs, assessing patient H&P information, and providing post-procedure recovery for patients receiving conscious sedation. The nurse must be comfortable administering conscious sedation medications and monitoring patients during procedures. Experience with ERCP procedures is essential. The position involves rotating day/evening shifts with required on-call coverage and working 2 of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Day). All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained, and complete work history must include facility type, bed count, and EMR. Reliable personal or rental transportation is strongly recommended.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy RN experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience REQUIRED.
• Recent Level I Trauma, large 500+ bed teaching hospital experience REQUIRED.
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS required.
• Recent Epic experience within the past 2 years REQUIRED and non-negotiable.
• Must have experience with ERCP procedures.
• Must be proficient in starting IVs and assessing patient H&P information.
• Experience providing post-procedure recovery for patients receiving conscious sedation required.
• Must be comfortable administering conscious sedation medications and monitoring patients during procedures.
• Prior Endoscopy procedural and recovery experience required.
• Must be available for rotating day/evening shifts with required on-call coverage.
• Must work 2 of 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
• Complete work history must include facility type, bed count, and EMR.
