About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions in a hospital setting. This fast-paced, collaborative role involves working with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units, in partnership with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. Nurses work across hospital units and may rotate between facilities. Schedules include regular and on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays, and daily schedules may change based on patient needs.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Must pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required by participating hospitals, possibly including a booster when eligible.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is helpful but not required.
• CNN/CDN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
• Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
• Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes.
• Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs.
• Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment.
