About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care services for adult patients requiring acute medical and surgical support. Working within a collaborative healthcare team, this role is responsible for patient assessment, care planning, treatment administration, clinical monitoring, and patient education across a variety of clinical situations requiring sound clinical judgment and timely intervention. Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 6 months of recent clinical experience within the past year
  • Associate, Bachelor, or Master of Science in Nursing, or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from an accredited nursing program approved by the appropriate state accrediting body
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to meet pre-employment medical, credentialing, compliance, and onboarding requirements
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card holder with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government MRPT security clearance
  • Valid U.S. passport with a minimum of 18 months remaining before expiration and willingness to relocate to Iraq for assignment
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and occasionally bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Prior experience in acute care, emergency care, or critical care nursing environments
  • International healthcare, military, or remote-site clinical experience
  • Previous experience supporting healthcare operations within government, military, or contractor healthcare settings

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor clinical status, and develop individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs
  • Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, treatments, and ongoing monitoring of vital signs and patient response
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care, support treatment planning, and ensure continuity of care
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies while providing compassionate emotional support
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent patient situations while supporting overall clinical operations and patient safety initiatives
  • Participate in required training, continuing education, credentialing, and organizational compliance programs
