About The Position
Brendan House is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their skilled nursing facility. This role involves building meaningful relationships and providing relationship-centered care to residents and their families. The facility, with 110 beds, serves both Long Term Care and Transitional Care residents in an integrated environment. Nurses will deliver a broad range of services including rehabilitation, skilled nursing care, chronic disease management, wound care, IV therapy, and end-of-life support. They will also collaborate with therapy teams, providers, residents, and families on care planning to support recovery, independence, and quality of life. The position offers a collaborative culture focused on teamwork, learning, and enhancing quality of life, with opportunities to make a significant impact on residents' lives.
Requirements
- Current Montana RN license (or compact license) required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Compassion for geriatric and medically complex residents
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
- Respond calmly and efficiently to changes in resident conditions
- Implement provider orders and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor, document, and communicate changes in residents’ physical and mental status
- Maintain high standards of infection prevention and resident safety
- Anticipate care needs and coordinate timely interventions
- Collaborate closely with the night shift care team to ensure seamless resident care
