About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy and Digestive Health department at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN. The position is PRN (as needed) and operates on a day shift schedule. The nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans, record and communicate patient conditions, serve as a primary coordinator for all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Requirements

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
American Red Cross Professional CPR/AED Rescuer
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor patient care plans.
