About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) at Atrium Health Cleveland. The CDU is a 24-bed observation/medical unit that cares for a variety of patients, specializing in observation patients (chest pain, kidney stones, minor surgeries) and also accepting overflow medical/surgical patients. The unit has strong relationships with the hospitalist group. The RN will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This involves using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Responsibilities
